Dear Harbaugh Foundation,

I hope this finds you well. My name is Tom Attwater, and I am a filmmaker based in Missoula, MT. I am reaching out to you with a project that aligns closely with your values and mission.

I am currently in the production phase of a feature-length, independent documentary that highlights the incredible journey of the Silver Lining Montana paddling team. Comprised of Montana women who are breast cancer survivors or undergoing treatment, this team embodies the spirit of resilience, courage, and unity that your foundation holds dear. The culmination of this journey is a pivotal scene in Maui, where the team's response to the wildfires and their participation in the Gathering of Voyagers event serves as a testament to their unity and compassion.

I am writing to request your support of $30,000 for this important project, specifically to fund an 8 day trip to Maui for three production team members. Your contribution would enable us to travel, conduct interviews, and document this significant moment. Your foundation's commitment to impactful giving and the advancement of human achievement resonates deeply with the message we aim to convey. By documenting this scene, we not only highlight the team's response to a crisis but also amplify the essence of purposeful philanthropy in action. To offer you more insight, I've attached a teaser and pitch deck outlining the project's details.

Additionally, I'm thrilled to share that The Silver Lining Foundation is our 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, making contributions tax-deductible.

Thank you for considering our request. I would love to discuss this opportunity further and provide any additional information you may need. Please feel free to contact me at tom@tomattwatermedia.com.

Sincerely,

Tom Attwater
